Lap Joint Flanges
Lap Joint Flanges
Lap Joint Flanges are used with a stub end that is butt-welded to the pipe, with the flange loose behind it. This design allows for easy alignment of bolt holes after welding and facilitates dismantling for inspection and cleaning. These flanges are ideal for systems requiring frequent assembly and disassembly. Lap Joint Flanges are typically used in low-pressure applications and where corrosion resistance is important, as the flange itself does not come into contact with the process fluid.
