Socket Weld Flanges
Socket Weld Flanges
Socket Weld Flanges are designed for use on small diameter high-pressure piping. These flanges are attached by inserting the pipe into the socket end, then applying a fillet weld around the top. This construction allows for a smooth bore and better flow of the fluid or gas inside the pipe. Socket-weld pipe flanges are commonly used in systems requiring high integrity and strength, especially where leakage must be prevented.
